Bruce’s journey

A dentist, a lifelong student, and now a teacher

Thirty years in the chair

Bruce practiced dentistry in Miami for more than three decades, known for explaining things clearly and kindly. Patients called him the “Toothsleuth.”

A quiet passion

All along, he spent his spare hours with Biblical Hebrew, working through the letters, then the words, then texts he had known all his life.

Finding a way in

Over time he found his own approach: take each word apart and find its root. Familiar passages began to feel new.

A new chapter

Today Bruce shares that approach through Hebrew By The Book, with anyone curious about the words behind their prayers and Psalms.
